Bidra med feedbackOkay, so previous to visiting here, my only experience with mussels was scraping them off docks as a kid, and using them as bait. Needless to say, I have been reticent to try them due to my past “non-culinary” experiences with them. The wonderfully friendly and knowledgeable waitress relived my fears by explaining how they are a locally grown specialty, and that they were nothing like oysters (which I really don’t like). Well, they were delightful and their recipe with cream, garlic, bacon, sun dried tomatoes blue cheese and spinach was fantastic!!! The view is spectacular and the wait was well worth it. I highly recommend this place!!
My wife and I were visiting the area with our kids from dallas and heard from various locals about front street grill. We were greeted at the front from our very friendly waitress who was from Louisiana and gave us great conversation. I ordered their signature coconut curry mussels with linguini and my wife got the fish and chips. I have to say that my meal was one of the best meals I have ever had. It was so freaking delicious. And also My first time trying mussels and they provided me with about 20 of them. My wife kept taking bites of my food and we were obsessed with the flavor of the curry sauce. My wife's fish and chips were also super good. Food came out pretty quick. About 15 minutes even though they only had 1 fryer working at the time. Prices were good as well since back in dallas that meal could have easily been 30 to 35 and i believe it was 13 plus 5 for the linguini. We also got the Beehaven Mead which was one of the best drinks we have ever had. It was so smooth and not too sweet. Beer on draft was about 7 to 8 for craft breweries which was very good as well. Overall our experience was top notch. I would highly recommend front street grill to anyone traveling up in this area. We cannot wait to take the in laws when they come visit us when we move to oak harbor next year. Keep up the great service!
Eating here is never a disappointment. The menu is excellent, as well as the service and the view is outstanding. I had the Bouillabaisse yesterday and it was awesome, as well as was the Creme Brulee. Prices are very reasonable with generous portions. There are many great restaurants in Coupeville, this being one that is at the top.
This is a small restaurant with an exceptional menu! The chef is fantastic and has always obliged a dairy allergy by switching olive oil instead of butter in some of the sauces... the food is always Amazing! The drinks are craft and fantastic, and the service is spot on. It’s always a pleasure to dine here.
We've eaten at FSG many times. It's always amazing. Great food, great service and a really good wine selection. My favorite, the mussels Rockefeller with linguine. OMG. It's a 30 mile drive from our house, but the reward is worth it. The prices are good too!
