Bidra med feedbackHad an amazing dining experience at this restaurant. The prices were reasonable and the service was fast and efficient. The menu had a great variety of well-cooked dishes, especially the delicious steaks.
Located on the east side of A688, across from a large garage, this inn offers limited parking for about twelve cars. It is recommended to book ahead for a midday lunch. My friends and I had a reservation for 1.45pm, but upon arrival, there was no table ready for us. However, a waiter quickly found us a table. We ordered drinks at the bar and received a small bill number ticket. Our table was ready before our drinks were finished. Once seated, we ordered the chicken Sunday lunch. Surprisingly, our food arrived quickly and was not served buffet style. The Yorkshire pudding and chicken were smothered in a delicious brown gravy, accompanied by a generous serving of mixed vegetables. None of us opted for dessert.
We were in the area of Bishop and decided to stop for lunch on our way home. We hadn't been to Bishop in a while, so after reading some reviews of Top House and a similar nearby restaurant, we chose to dine at Top House for its more affordable prices. The food was delicious and served quickly with a friendly attitude. I ordered the Steak Pie and my partner had the Top House Burger. After seeing how amazing the pie looked, I wished I had ordered it instead. The meat was tender and plentiful, and although it came with a suet lid, it was reportedly delicious. We were running late, so we skipped dessert, but overall, it was a very enjoyable last-minute lunch. The restaurant is old and rustic, but clean and comfortable. I highly recommend it.
First time here and was unreal food. Tasty and just spot on. I had mix grill and My partner had ribeye stake was cooked perfectly and the staff are attentive and nothing's too much will definatly be back
Beautiful home cooked food, friendly and insightful staff. We had fillet surf and turf with garlic butter and king prawns. The steak was a cooked to perfection as was the mixed grill.
