The dinner on Sunday was very pricey. The staff was friendly. They offer designated dog-friendly areas and dog-free areas. I ordered the Angus stew with Guinness, which was delicious but very rich - I couldn't finish it all. Two others in my party had lunch and enjoyed it. The restaurant is very attractive and I would definitely go back. I would give it 4 out of 5 stars.

This is a lovely bustling pub with a fantastic atmosphere. The prices are reasonable and the food is outstanding. The service was friendly and efficient. Dogs and children are both welcome and looked after well. The portions are generous and the food is fresh, not deep-fried. The decor is attractive and the pub garden is beautiful. I had a really enjoyable lunch and would definitely return.

This place is fantastic! It's a beautiful, clean, and peaceful pub with delicious food, great beer, and friendly staff. And the best part is that it's located in Teesdale! Can't ask for more.
