Rib Cage - Counce

Few things on this planet are as good as the cheese plate at the rib cage(s) of Mississippi. 100% must go if you pass one. There are a few in MS but this one is my personal favorite. Right off of Pickwick you?re there. Cheese plate. Just get the cheeseplate get a few of them.

Counce, TN, is a small town with limited dining options, so we were thrilled to find out that the Rib Cage was open until 8 PM. Since it was only 6:45 PM, I quickly jumped in the truck and headed over. The parking lot had 4-5 cars, and the OPEN sign was illuminated. However, when I walked in, I noticed the counter was filled with takeout orders. A gentleman asked for the name on my order, and I replied that I hadn’t ordered yet, but I was ready to do so. To my surprise, he told me they were closed. It was strange that the closed sign was switched off as I left. I won't be returning! They really need to update their hours online!

The food was excellent, and the prices were reasonable—no complaints whatsoever. I would definitely return, especially for the fantastic key lime pie!

I really enjoyed the barbecue! The prices are great, and the unique building adds to the fun of visiting while at the lake.

Great little bbq joint. Def worth checking out.
