Salty's Fresh Mex - Cottleville

Sweet atmosphere, friendly staff and FLAVORFUL food! The salsa is a bit smokey with just a touch of sweetness. The beer was cold and the Margarita was strong. You have a huge menu with lots of variety. My wife and I have tacos and my goodness, they're delicious. We both noticed how full the tacos were. We hate to go places where you get more shell than filling. On the way out of the door my wife said that this is her new meeting place, I could no longer agree. You will not be disappointed!

The first time here. It was a great experience. Super clean, great staff and excellent food! The shrimps are very recommended!! The blood oranges and blackberry margaritas were also really good! I will put this on my list of regular places!!!

It has a very rustic feeling. It was quiet and cozy. The food was okay, but I would say it was far away from authenticity if you were looking for it. I would compare it to putting sugar on your spaghetti because everything is very sweet. I always ask for a hot salsa when I go to get tacos that do not exist here. I would love a variety for the Salsas green, sweet, hot etc. The volcano Lava Burrito lacked the volcano the only lava I tasted was the color of the sauce. The sauce was compatible with the heat you get from the view of the puppy bowl on TV. I will say that you will be full because it is 90 percent rice and 10 percent protein. The redeemed qualities are the atmosphere is very beautiful, the price is appropriate 10-15 a plate 5.99 for children, and if you want to drink the menu has a variety of flavors for the virgins for the children. Not terrible at all.

Great folks. Very friendly. Good selection. Salsa was okay but lacked any hint of cilantro so it was rather dull. Fast service.

The food was really good. The kids meals seem a bit over-priced. On their site it's $5.99 and at the restaurant it's $6.99 for all kids meals. There is also an additional charge for using your credit card. The staff was extremely friendly and the establishment looked very clean. I would recommend going with adults instead of with kids because I feel like you get what you pay for on adult meals which are very good, flavorful, and a good portion but the kids meals were a bit over priced for what was received. Keep in mind prices are rising for everyone so I do understand the need to raise prices. I think the thing that got me was it was different online. Also, this is the only place that we have ordered from in past week that had a credit card charge. Things are already expensive without adding more charges and not telling you when you receive one bill and after the card is ran the bill is different. That is the reason for the 4 stars and not 5.
