Tacos Carnitas Pepe’s - Costa Mesa

The girl at the register was super helpful with suggestions and helping me customize everything in my order. We tend to have a lot of customizations and sometimes places forget or they don't care to make sure it's correct. I appreciated that this place did. She was so considerate of my family and it's greatly appreciated. The food was delicious and we loved everything. We ordered the steak quesadilla, three tacos, a chorizo burrito, an egg and cheese burrito, everything tasted great.

If you haven't tried this place yet, please come in!!! The food is very authentic, and very well seasoned. My daughter and I tried the carnitas tacos, and the green enchilada plate. Their tacos were delicious, and the enchiladas tangy from the sauce and even the chicken inside was well seasoned. Only thing I regret is not taking pictures. We were soooo hungry that we didn't even think. I'm Mexican and don't eat lots of Mexican food when I'm out because, I can cook it all myself. But..... This place is pretty dang authentic! Hope you enjoy!

10/10 would recommend. Authentic Mexican cuisine. Delicious flavor in every bite, their pork skin tacos are a must try! Juicy, buttery, flavorful.

I got a carne asada mulita and it was delicious! Spicy salsa on point ? not a fast food restaurant so don't expect to go in and out with your food if you're in a rush just call ahead instead. Overall great food?

I see this place has good reviews. With so many Mexican food options nearby, I think I will pass on this one. Cockroach infestation is not something I take lightly.
