Folks - Costa Mesa

Overall, pretty solid. Really loved the pizza, but the salads and wings were just ok and very overpriced. We ordered one pizza, two salads, and two orders of wings and it was $115. Ten small wings were $20 an order. Next time I’d come back and order 2 pizzas for $50 and call it a day.

Great Pizza. One of the best in the area. Make sure to let it cool down a little bit, or it will be too soupy in the middle. Chicken wings were bomb.

Pizza is ok(on the good side),Service was on the bad neutral side, and to top it off, our seating by far the worst dining experience.Seats were available but we got the bench, looked nice but seemed like a waiting area. Table was too low we had our backs crouched the whole time. My behind was also uncomfortable because the bench angle.On our Caeser salad came with anchovies but I did ask for extra if possible. Received a side come to find out it was $3.50 for 3 anchovies but it’s fine I guess since I love them.(not for that pricing)Our fennel pizza arrived and server never offered cheese, pepper flakes, marinara or ranch or even wait for us to ask. By the time she arrived to check on us the pizza was cold. (Around 12-15 minutes)Won’t be dining again, or come across the thought of take out even though the pizza was ok.

Folks is one of the best, if not the best, pizza spots in Orange County. I've seen complaints about wait times and price, but honestly, both are not important to me when it comes to food. I've never had an issue with service, but the wait is definitely long if you do not have a reservation. It is a smaller spot and has become quite popular over the last year, so I think you should expect a long wait.I've gone here quite a few times over the years and it has never been less than stellar pizza. I've gotten many different kinds and enjoyed every single one of them. The Caesar salad is also something to shout out it is amazing.Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys artisan pizza, or just enjoys pizza in general. The food is amazing and I love the atmosphere and wine selections as well. Enjoy the food and don't get caught up in wait times!

The food was great here, I literally overstuffed myself happily here. The arancini is a must, absolutely delicious, and you will not regret it. Had the soppreseta pizza was rich but tasty. I'm excited to try other pies. Had the meatballs they were good too, but it was way too much. I took a star down because food literally all came together when it's good to stagger appetizers from entrées. Wine selection was alright. There were lots of varieties. If possible, try before you order a full glass. Ordered the cheesecake and it was creamy and good. Would absolutely come back and try one of those massive salads I saw people eating.
