Um hallo new favorite sandwich course EVER!!! Sooo good I think my favorite is on thinking sourdough vs the French bread, but both delicious!!! On the first day there was the next to go and bless again. Good quality meat and bread... what makes a delicious sandwich!!! And homemade chips are also on the go!! ..a lot comes in a sequence so enough to share .. or not! Got the turkey pastrami sandwich and chicken salad sandwich!
This is going to be a relatively long-winded review because I take my sandwiches seriously. I spent a fair amount of time reading reviews on Yelp and Google to try and get a feel for what I was going to be heading into. As a general rule of thumb I try not to follow the masses because the masses are azzes. Many reviews talked about the pastrami so of course I made sure I didn 't get that. Many others talked about the long wait, so I made sure to pay attention to the timing. I ended up with the spicy Baja Chicken #13) and my girlfriend got the Bronx Club #22). Both were outstanding! The Baja Chicken had a good amount of grilled chicken and was spicy but not too spicy. The chicken was tender and the veggies were grilled to perfection, slightly wilted but still with some crunch. The Bronx Club was amazing. The turkey was thinly shaved more than it was sliced which I actually love in a turkey sandwich. There was plenty of toppings, including the avocado, and the ratios worked perfectly together. We got both sandwiches on the baguette which was one of the best breads I 've had. Crunchy on the outside, tender on the inside and not too tough so that when you bite your sandwich everything squirts out the back. Now about the timing. I arrived at the store about 12:10 on a Tuesday afternoon, prime lunch rush. I took 5 minutes to get my order straight in my head, waited about 4 minutes in line before I was able to put my order in. The order arrived in the kitchen at 12:20. I was with order in hand and out the door by 12:30. So a total of 20 minutes in the store, only half of which was sandwich prep time . Not bad at all considering one sandwich required time on the grill and it was lunch rush. All in all I was very pleased with the service, the wait time, and the actual sandwiches. We will definitely be back and we 're very interested in trying the breakfast sandwiches, which are served all day!
Come for the sandwiches, stay for the fries! Bronx crafts savory, meaty sandwiches that offer an authentic New York experience. Along with the main course, the delectable side orders are to die for. My family and I stumbled on the place as we were looking for places to eat. We arrived after the lunch rush, at about 1:30. The cashier greeted us in warmly. We settled on a Hot Veggie sandwich, The Legend sandwich, and Texas BBQ Brisket fries. Though everything seemed a bit pricey on the menu, when we picked up our food, it was apparent why everything cost what it did. The sandwiches were fresh and enormous, each giving off a distinct smell. Cheese and barbecue, topped off with onions and brisket, drenched the fries in a gooey top layer. The fries ' appeal was too strong, so my whole family jumped on that first. Using forks for less of a mess, I could almost hear everyone collectively say Wow . The creamy American cheese and the crunch of the zesty onion slices made the fries into, well, super-fries! Not to mention, the tangy barbecue sauce along with the brisket meat was an killer entity on its own. We almost all forgot about the sandwiches after one bite, and I had to stop everyone from devouring the fries. The Hot Veggie was scrumptious, with smoky vegetables and smothered in mayonnaise and cheese. The Legend, on the other hand, was slightly bland with its cold turkey and roast beef, paired with classic vegetables. There were various sauces to choose from, and we chose the Gramma 's Sweet and Spicy sauce. True to its name, it was syrupy and had a spicy punch to it. It complemented The Legend perfectly, making it more flavorful. The restaurant has a very industrial, metal feel to it. The whole place was very clean and well-kept, this being apparent at the tables and in the bathroom. The manager asked us about our experience as we were about to leave, and I told him that I was sure going to write a positive review about this sandwich shop. Incredibly delectable food and friendly customer service makes Bronx Sandwiches a must-try eatery.
