Bistro Papillote - Costa Mesa

My husband chose this restaurant for the party of his company and it was a big hit! The owner, boss Laurent Brazier, was trained in Paris and man Oh man makes his skin kitchen background shine. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meal. This guy can let salads sing! The atmosphere is trendy enough for the hipsters and quiet enough for me. It is decor has a pronounced Paris Café feeling. Bring your beloved for a romantic evening. Stop with friends. Visit the Croque Monsieur.

Simple café with a limited selection of French cafe lovers. The crepes are well made with the right amount of crispy on the inside. The queue is on the smaller side, but otherwise sufficient. Note that you can bring coffee from Portola next door to enjoy your meal here.

Last Sunday, my wife and I had our first culinary experience in Bistro Papillote, that was the best Clotted Egg dish we ever had! So last night 4-14-16 we accompanied by our close friends went back to dinner. Between the group we had Sea Bass wild caught in Baha, pork chop that looked like a Tomahawk steak, Hierloom tomatoes and Barrata cheese salad and a bottle of French Chardonnay amazing. We finished this delicious meal with a Crepes desert that will die for!! We were more than impressed by food and the waitress was so delightful and accommodating. we do this regularly on our favorite dining places. Bon Appetite Mike Wirthlin

Great service, and cozy authentic French bistro. I'd like to come for crepe and of course Mimosas for a special breakfast.
