If you are looking for a quiet place to have a drink, try the bar at McMenamins. After a walk into several places in downtown to find them packed and loud, I was glad to find a much more relaxed atmosphere here. And McMenamins has decent beer.

My wife and I have salmonella poisoning from the food here. The chicken tits were extremely underboiled and raw. It took a while to realize this because the bar side of the restaurant is roughly as illuminated as a cabinet. We said they were raw and they brought us out more. Yeah, just what we wanted. He said we cut one up to make sure they were cooked. The smallest and thinnest! Absolutely absurd. I shouldn't have paid, but I think I'm nice. I came out and my wife and I were in full misery 24 hours later when the salmonella punished our body for the next three days. We lost over $650 missing work while sick. I'll never visit this place again.

I had such a fun time hanging there with my friends. I was visiting the city from Norway and originally was the plan to go a few different places, but then it was so much fun here that we stayed! Drinks were also delicious! Alivia is my favorite?

Really nice little place. We all loved the food and drinks. There isn't much space but they were very accomodating to make a way for my mom with her rollerator to get to a table. They also allowed us to bring in the birthday cake for our son. Really appreciate it.
