Bidra med feedbackWe went to Rock Star Sushi and Hibachi for their Hibachi tonight, but unfortunately they had only reserved for it. We decided to stay anyway and try their sushi. The grilled Calamari was very good. I loved it absolutely with her Yaum-Yum sauce; which I am pretty sure is her own recipe as it was a bit spicier than most. We tried the Maine Roll, Candy Cane Roll and the Rainbow Roll. I absolutely loved the Maine Roll! The lobster was very obvious and it just had great flavors. My girlfriend was the Candy Cane Roll. And as always, the Rainbow Roll was delicious. We both agree that food was just a good quality. And of course also the snake!
Another great culinary experience. Very recommended. We had garlic and fried gyoza for appetizers Hungry, Paradise, Rockstar, Tornado, crazy boys rolling out of the sushi bar For Entrees we had House Lo-mein Everything was super tasteful and made ultra fresh and hot. The Sushi Cook is a young artist in his craftsmanship. Some of the best we've ever eaten. It is a wealth of food for a very reasonable price. The quality exceeds the price. Please check my other reviews
The workers there were super nice! They made a tree design thing on my sushi plate since it was my 13th. Birthday is and they said much happy birthday and we are really nice: D the food was also amazing! The noodles and shrimps were the best noodles and strings I've ever had. I 1000% recommended to go here
This place has AMAZING sushi, definitely high quality. A little pricey but worth it. I ordered through a delivery app and my runner forgot something, the store said I can pick it up whenever(since I don't have a ride today) I will definitely be coming here more often
A little more expensive than other Corpus Christi sushi places like Aka or Imperial, but the portions seemed slightly larger and there did appear to be more creativity put into Rockstar 's presentation, a very pleasant surprise. In particular I enjoyed the 'Tower, ' which wasn 't a roll but a well put together collection of ingredients plated into a small 'tower ' and topped with a quail egg. Personally my wife and I are fans of Imperial, but if we were unable to drive to the other end of town or just happened to be in the area and in the mood for sushi we would (and will) happily return. The inclusion of hibachi is a nice bonus as well! If you would like to ask any questions about this or other places in the Corpus Christi area feel free to get in touch with us on our YouTube channel (just search my name on YouTube).
