Mesquite St. Grill - Corpus Christi

Husband and I were on Saturday night. We ordered, and I ordered the ribs, but I can't have potato salad due to the food restrictions of my autoimmune disease. So I asked her if I could have something for one side. She said there was a salad and she asked if Ranch was okay; she can't. I asked if they had a vinaiigrette. Well, when we got the appetizers (the fried cucumbers and the cheese cures they brought us this with Marinara and honey mustard, because I can't have ranch. That was super thoughtful! Hubs has the avocado grilled cheese thing. Our meals were super amazing. I have to say the ribs I got were some of the best per price class I had. We never had to call for refills; our server was hella over it. At the end of the food Naben ordered a yeast wheat, and when she asked what brewery, he said surprised me! Instead of just randomly picking one, our server asked the bar staff and brought him their recommendation and he really loved it. I got her peach splash (what? That was really good. But I thought it was cool from her that instead of it only for the surprise beer to wings, she consulted for a reference. That was really about her. Anyway, our server was amazingly super-attentive and simply really pleasant. The food was also amazing. We will definitely come back!

This is the unique place in town, friendly, a bit eccentric, but completely my type of space! No matter who you are, no matter where you are on your trip, you are welcome here!

Went from the blue for brunch yesterday for the first time and must say the prices are great I wanted one of all on the menu only cuz of the prices lol..had the chicken and waffles .. very good... my friend had the Omelett station and the carving and waffle station ..you have problems with the waffle station, but we have seen the cookies and severity.

A great place to step back and enjoy a new edition in Downtown Corpus Christi. Great food, great music, great art and great people.

I’ve been here 10 years and never knew such amazing food exists in Corpus. Amazing food and the prices are just as good. Best meal in forever. The staff are all wonderful. Will definitely make this a regular stop. Tell your friends!
