The The Cracker Barrels Country Boy Breakfast Country Ham was very salty and the Thick-Sliced Bacon had a weird after taste.

French Toast was small like cheap bread, not thick slices as pictured and over cooked. Crispy Rockin Shrimp is bread! The shrimp are extremely tiny. Big disappointment.

We both had lunch portion of Chicken and Dumplings, I had vedgetable soup for my side and husband had fried okra . The chicken and dumplings were perfect. The soup was good but very bland , I added Tabasco , salt and pepper.His okra was ok , it could have been a little more crisp. We also had bisquits and cornbread on the side , they were both perfect and I was very impressed they served real butter , not fake spread like most places in Corpus Christi. The service was very good and it was fairly quick.

We had to wait 30 minutes for a table even though they had a lot of empty tables We got in and the wait staff was friendly and willing to get our order right I got the pot roast and it was so hot I couldn’t eat it I had to take it out of the pot and put it on the bread plate to cool it down The cashier was rude he needs to find a new job

My wife and I had a gift card to Cracker Barrel, so we finally went. The ambience and service were very good, but the food was just okay. The Chicken Fried Steak was a bit more than okay, but the killer was the cold, congealed creamed gravy which was lumpy and bland. My wife had the meatloaf, and while the meat was okay, her green beans were unremarkable and she had the same issue with the gravy on her mashed potatos.
