Cancun Mexican - Corpus Christi

Eating is good. But one of the chefs looked at an eye booger and just roll it out of his fingers where the food is. Pretty rough, but the heat kills the germs. I'm gonna eat here, because the food is good, I never get sick.

I just had breakfast here, and it was fantastic! I love breakfast at Cancun! The chorizo and egg plate, along with the pancakes, were delicious! The green sauce is wonderful, and the coffee is always hot and really good! The service is incredibly friendly! I absolutely love it!

The tacos are fantastic, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. I would give them 5 stars if the service were a bit quicker. My only issue was waiting nearly 30 minutes for 2 tacos. I recommend ordering inside for faster service, especially if there are other cars in the drive-thru.

When it comes to Mexican cuisine, Cancun Restaurant stands out as the best option in town. In my opinion, the other Mexican restaurants in Corpus just don't measure up. I should note that this is solely my personal view; I don’t have any Mexican heritage (I’m originally from another Latin American country). However, I have visited Mexico and found their food to be incredibly delicious – not overly greasy, and the tortillas have a distinct flavor. Unfortunately, when I tried Mexican food here in Corpus, nothing quite compared to what I experienced in Mexico. The only restaurant that comes close is Cancun.
