Bidra med feedbackFood wasn't too bad, just extremely overpriced. We went to her Christmas brunch and for two people the price was about 350 with taxes and tip. It might have been worth half that much, and that's what it is. Also very hectic and chaotic. Not the festive and special event I had hoped for. You should also have separate bathrooms for the Brunch guests or staff with the existing bathrooms with participants. They were overcrowded and disgusting.
We've been coming to the Del Sunday morning for 25 years. It was always a highlight for trips to San Diego. The breadth, presentation and quality of food was always amazing. However, after spending $100 per adult today, I was overwhelmingly disappointed by the experience. Although some of the dishes offered tasted well, some items like the lemonade are now syrup-based drinks from the soda fountain. Hot chocolate tastes like powder mixed with water. The presentation and diversity have also declined significantly for several years. In the past, there were chocolate fountains with strawberries, fresh honeycombs and cheeses, freshly baked deserts and huge paella spreads that were visually stunning and disgusting. Now the selection, display and presentation of pedestrians and the chocolate fountain has been replaced by a cotton candy machine. They pay more and get so much less than the last time I came. That's why the 25-year-old tradition is officially finished, making me sad.
We love the quality and selection of this brunch, but would have appreciated a somewhat better service for the price. Fried six adults and had to make repeated drinks requests. Nevertheless, there is something about the historical significance of this place that you relax and appreciate your surroundings and the luxury of this beautiful place.
The Crown Room Brunch at Hotel Del is one of these little pleasures in life everyone should once experience LEAST! About 5 years ago, I experienced her brunch. I took my girlfriend and her mother to brunch. It was such an AMAZING experience that we have to go at least once a year! You have a station for everything! I didn't get a picture when every station because I didn't want this guy, but I got some pictures to share with you. It is one of the best customer service experiences you'll encounter. After check-in for your time, there is no waiting time (Make a booking! . You will be checked in and then you will be brought to your table by one of the many ready waiters / queues that you welcome at the entrance. Once at the table, you are now ready to explore the culinary wonders you expect! My favorite department is the breakfast station. You have some brown sugar waffles that will destroy you! Fresh strawberries, whipped butter, berries, homemade whipped cream and warm syrup are all there to get your waffle. From there you can make your way to Omelette Station or go to the center and drive through the carving station. They have lamb, ham and roast beef with some au jus and horses sauce. My wife chose the Ramenstation and Seafood Department right in front of the bat. Every round I made a trip to the cheese department. There is also a salad area and a poke station. I wasn't able to visit them all, but I feel like I had about 80%, so I was fine with that, Lol. You also have live music playing what was really nice. We wanted to sit near a window and had a nice view. You can also ask for the terrace and eat with a great view of the courtyard. There is no way you can go wrong here with Brunch. Holidays are a little pricier than just your average Sunday brunch, but still worth it. You are looking for about $80-90 a adult dish on a normal brunch and somewhere in the area when $140 for a vacation brunch. Feel free to walk the hotel and enjoy the beach or just take a walk! Parking is $20 for Valet when you eat at the hotel. You have no parking, unless you park somewhere nearby and just walk there, but this juice is not worth the squeeze; just do the valet and enjoy all the experience.
Beyond delicious we went for mother's day and it the normal Sunday brunch is waaaay better! More choices na d less crowded!
