Bidra med feedbackMagnificent botanical gardens with a variety of tropical plants, ferns, orchids and foxes as well as cactus and succulents. The lecturers conduct very informative tours, good to do. The ticket is $5 and the parking lot is free in the parking lot, although their parking lot is filled at weekends at about 11:00, so come there at 10:30 a.m. on weekends to get a place, otherwise you will hunt for 2 hour parking on the street.
I went there for a wedding, the garden closed at 4 o'clock for a special event.. It is a beautiful small garden and takes 1 hour. Many flowers are in flower and plants are very green. Place is very clean. Daily: 10:30 – 4 pm 24. December – Closure at 1 o'clock Closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Admission: $5.00 Children (3 under): Free Only service dogs are allowed in the gardens. Parking on the back and free Many rest areas ( benches swing chairs) 2 bathrooms (one of gift shop other by train display) 2 wells of one surrounded by flowers near rear entrances
Thoroughly pleasant garden displays in a veery relaxing and quiet atmosphere. Additionally the 608 Dahlia Cafe located in the garden area is a nice open air covered seating. They offer a nice but limited menu. They baby beet salad on toast along with braised short ribs was nicely presented and very tasty.
What a gem!!! So so happy I discovered this garden to take my parents to. This place is tucked into an unassuming cute block in CDM with a parking lot in the back of 2 hr street parking. The lady in the front was wonderfully helpful and super nice. I’m so happy I signed up for the annual $60membership (which includes admission to gardens nationwide), otherwise it’s $5 entry fee. It was lovely to visit Sherman garden in the fall (library is only open on weekdays).
Wonderful night of 1000 lights. Amazing display of the gardens at night, with lights, food, drinks, and an excellent staff. Beautifully arranged and displayed. Also a fabulous acrobat show with such talented young girls. I can't wait for next year's lights show. Must see.
