Coro Pies - Coromandel

Delicious crust, tasty fillings. My patner and I have been on the hunt for the best pies in NZ and these pies are that. Would recommend 100%.

I ate a pie from this place MONTHS ago while visiting the area i still think about it. I believe it was a vegetarian mornay pie. No Vego pie will ever hit the spot like the one i had at Coro Pies. So much so, that I’m sitting on my bed in Australia craving a pie but I can’t even be bothered to go find one, because it won’t be a veggie mornay pie from this little pie shop. Coro Pies kind of ruined pies for me in a way, because I will probably never get a chance to come back here no pie will ever live up to that one I got in August from Coro Pies. And not to gloss over the super friendly customer service the lady who served us was absolutely lovely. There was tables outside the shop but we chose to walk around the town eating. I definitely recommend stopping in at Coro Pies if you’re ever in the area looking for a bite.
