Bidra med feedbackFood was really great in a typically wonderful old public house. Steak and ale pie a big hit, and fish and chips above the average. Service was a bit ragged but with fine friends and good wine, the evening was great.
Great place good food Enjoyed a walk in the area and made back in time for lunch at the pub, would highly recommended and we’ll definitely be back. Thank you
Stopped by for an evening meal the food was absolutely fantastic. From arriving to leaving the staff were friendly and helpful.. it was so good we booked for Sunday lunch which didn't dissapoint. Very good value.
Absolutely amazing and delicious food for all the family. Children’s meals were big but I was grateful for this as my boys are fussy so we could mix and match their food so all were happy. My only grumble is lack of tables and chairs if you just want to have a drink. There is a huge area of the pub dedicated to just drinking but only two tables in the whole space. This meant we had to sit in the freezing cold garden with the children. If they had more seats inside we would definitely be able to stay for more drinks and play board games with our children. Lovely lovely pub and I would really recommend for food but cannot for the life of me understand why there is hardly any tables for just sitting and drinking. Space taken up two massive pool tables. I’m writing this shivering in the pub garden :
I visited the White Hart with my family while we were on holiday in St. Teath. The pub is quite grubby and we were effected by cigarette smoke which was coming in through the open doors. The food is mediocre and the portions are huge, our grandchildren were overwhelmed by the size of their meals, they were big enough for an adult with a big appetite. There must be a very large amount of wastage which we find upsetting. The only saving grace is that the staff are very friendly.
