The Mermaid Beach Cafe

The sandwiches at this restaurant are incredibly tasty, and the location right on the beach is perfect. Despite being busy, we didn't have to wait long for a table. The lemon and pistachio cake was also very delicious.

We stopped by for some ice cream and were pleasantly surprised to see they had gluten-free cones available. While it may not be a big deal for some, having celiac disease means many typical treats are off-limits. We were even more impressed when they washed the scoop before serving us. It's the little things like this that made a big impact, and we are happy to give The Mermaid top marks for being aware and considerate. We will definitely be coming back.

Just popped in late afternoon. Plenty of choice. We had a gorgeous sausage roll and the coffee was ace followed by some ice cream. Friendly service and excellent prices. Definitely will come again.

The gentleman who runs this place provides excellent and friendly service. The food and drinks are of high quality and great value for the money. The restaurant is right on the beach. We have visited several times during our week here and highly recommend it.

We were regular visitors here during our recent holiday. Great for coffee, pasties and ice cream and right by the beach. Very busy as it is one of the only places for food in the village but worth the wait.
