Bidra med feedbackWe used to love popping in here when we were in Truro, you would be lucky to get a seat but now it’s take your pick. In a nutshell the place has lost its soul.
We remembered this pub from a few years ago when it was difficult to get a seat for one of the very good meals they served. Called last week and the place was deserted and the poor barman looked bored to tears. Sat outside, alone, on the benches in the market square opposite the 'We are Open ' sign very necessary to advertise the fact. Even the frontage looks decrepit. What a shame
We called in for a quick drink and was pleasantly surprised how nice it was inside. Looks rundown from the front, but nice atmosphere and good outdoor terrace
I stopped here for a few beers whilst local the pub is very clean and well presented and staff friendly and welcoming although it was early evening the place was very busy which indicates a good pub
Marcus and Nicola made the experience all the more worthwhile, covid regulations were followed and no request was too big! Lovely atmosphere and super quick service throughout the meal even though there was plenty of tables full! Definitely recommend, will definitely be returning
