Bidra med feedbackLocated just off the main road near the harbor, this new restaurant came highly recommended to us. The owner, who is also the chef, prepares fresh food to order. The service was excellent – probably the best we've had in St. Ives. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, making us feel very welcome. The menu offers a variety of options, including delicious scallops as a popular starter. For the main course, we suggest trying the crab and prawn tagliatelle, as well as the monkfish and prawn pernod. The sauces in these dishes were outstanding. We particularly enjoyed the elderflower dessert, a unique dish that includes edible flowers.
The food at this restaurant was delicious and creative. The lamb dish was particularly impressive. One dessert was served in a flower pot with soil and real flowers, which added a unique touch. The service was friendly and attentive. While not the most affordable option, the prices were reasonable.
This restaurant in St. Ives is a beautiful hidden gem with friendly service, delicious food, and a lovely relaxing, romantic atmosphere. I highly recommend trying this place if you are looking for a small restaurant with character and ambiance. The only downside is that there are not many choices on the menu, but the quality of the dishes we tried was exceptional. Overall, this restaurant excels in quality.
Great eating and ambiente. fresh scallops for appetizers and beautiful sole in lemon sauce with fresh green seaweed (sorry, can not remember names)! my man had good vegetarian options! we enjoyed the service and the music was light, interesting and not loud! there is a wide range of wein, but we have no rehearsals. we were on the Cornish-Cidders! recommend: they would not be disappointed.
A great find! Following recommendations we ordered the prawn curry (very good) and also decided to go for the monkfish and prawn dish (also very tasty). We also had olives and duck spring rolls to start which were great The staff were lovely and helpful. The food was served promptly. It was lovely to eat somewhere in St Ives with truly original options.
