We had previously stopped by for coffee and enjoyed the ambiance, so when we stayed across the street at the charming White Hart inn, we decided to make a reservation for dinner on Sunday evening. It turned out to be a fantastic choice. The staff assured me that my gluten-free dietary requirements could be accommodated.

Dining out at Salt Kitchen in Hayle is an experience on another level. The menu offers a fantastic selection of surf and turf options, including appetizers, starters, main courses, and specials. The portion sizes are generous, and the variety of flavors and textures is exquisite. The chef and her team have created a culinary masterpiece. The atmosphere is trendy yet intimate, and the service is top-notch. I would highly recommend Salt Kitchen for a high-quality dining experience. Overall, it is outstanding.

Never Disappoints, Came here for Saturday Dinner, started with Padron peppers to share and got a massive portion, Fish and chips for me, Was rich but light, cooked perfectly. Daughter had the monkfish skewers which she gets every time, portions seemed to have got bigger as she couldn’t even touch the pittabread. Drinks were great ONLY suggestion is I’d love to see actually non alcoholic mocktails instead of just mixed juices would love maybe a couple of Lyres non alcoholic spirit options so you feel like your having a real drink. Other than that perfect evening, great staff will try and book more regularly this winter

Had a great time. Salt is doing all the main things right: the menu is the right size and focused on what works and ours tasted good; the ingredients are good quality and with decent portions; staff are friendly and there is a warm feel to the place; and the kids meals are decent and not just tacked on as an afterthought. Worth going for the cocktails too.
