Feedback
Bidra med feedbackI have dined at this restaurant a few times and the atmosphere was really nice. The staff were excellent and the food was good pub fare with no complaints. However, on our third visit, the owner was behind the bar and seemed a bit grumpy. We ordered the fish cakes which were served with chips, but they were very dry and needed a sauce. We had to leave the food uneaten, so we informed our server who said he would pass on the feedback to the chef. Unfortunately, we never heard back about our complaint and the owner was content to accept full payment. Unfortunately, we will not be returning because of this experience, which is a shame because the restaurant is actually quite lovely. If they do not value customer feedback, then why should they expect continued business.
This traditional pub is fantastic, offering delicious hearty pub fare and a variety of real ales that are sure to please any hiker or adventurer. They also host acoustic nights on the first Sunday of every month, which are always well-received. The staff is lovely, and the cozy fireside atmosphere is perfect for a chilly winter evening.
The pub is delightful, with a great selection of food and drinks, and the staff are extremely friendly. We went there twice during our week in Cornwall, and my husband was very impressed by the ham, egg, and chips - he said they were the best he's had in a while. We will definitely be returning the next time we're in Cornwall.
Lovely location short walk from our cottage. Staff very welcoming and attentive. Excellent menu and service. All I can say is we loved the atmosphere and the food.
We are looing to book a cottage in Blisland next year just so we can spend more time in this great boozer.
