Red Island Baked Potato - Cornwall

We had heard about this popular restaurant in PEI and decided to make a pit stop during our travels. The kids ordered the Islander dish, I opted for the Tex-Mex, and my husband chose the Chili baked potato with toppings. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and cleaned our plates, even the kids. The service was exceptional and they were accommodating to a dairy intolerance. It was a delightful dinner experience that was unlike anything we have tried in Ontario. A definite must-visit spot while in PEI!

The restaurant was excellent. The service was fast and we really enjoyed the decor and atmosphere. We ordered the taco baked potato and the barbecue chicken baked potato.

If you like baked potatoes this is a must-try. The owner is fantastic. It doesn't matter which baked potato you get they are all delicious and gluten free. Go check it out your mouth will thank you.

The reviews to this place were very pleasing so we decided to try it out. We had the pulled pork and the butter chicken. The pulled pork was beyond amazing and was devoured within minutes. The butter chicken was also amazing and very filling. I only ate half and took the test to go. We also had the perogies and they were smothered in baking! I highly recommend this place. Great service as well!

We visited at Avonlea village in the afternoon on a Sunday. They were out of green onions, broccoli, sweet peppers and water bottles. Do they not expect customers?The potatoes were tasty....we had a variety...and the staff were super nice and friendly. I just wish they had all the ingredients as I dragged my entire family there for lunch because I wanted a PEI baked potato.
