Bidra med feedbackOverall a good experience. Rooms were clean and we slept great. The upkeep on the facilities is lacking. Concierge service was pleasant. Wonderful location with quick access to Cumberland Falls especially in the middle of the night to go see the moonbow. The continental breakfast was a bust as the food was not adequately stocked for guests (lines back up to get food from single points of serving). The food either ran out prematurely or the cook decided to stop cooking well before the posted dining room closure time. Worst, the dining room staff was irritated when asked to replenish cups for coffee that was otherwise ready to serve. This is a good option to get a nights rest when looking at one of the rarest sights to see in the world, but not all the staff seem to care about supporting that experience.
The room was clean and furnished nicely, towels were soft and fluffy. The door to the room was hard to open, so I had to give it a good shove. Would definitely go back.
Lodge rooms are bare bones and dated. No microwave, no fridge, thin walls, loud doors. Furnature is dated scuffed. However, the building, surroundings and outdoor spaces are beautiful. Limited restaurant menus but good food, prices service. Nice, free breakfast buffet.
Older but great place to spend couple of nights. The Falls are REAL CLOSEBY (like 4-5 miles) and SPECTACULAR! The view at night from out back of the river is fantastic also! After lunch say, because sun sets behind and lights up the river view below! See
We stayed in one of the woodland cabins. We had an ant problem, but understand we are in the woods. We did not have any hand soap or body wash provided. Everything else was good.
