Bidra med feedbackStaff was so unbelievably rude. They closed 45 minutes early and locked the doors right in front of us as soon as we got there. There was only one other person there, they just wanted to close early. Unbelievable. I wish I was exaggerating.Parking for this place sucks. There's limited street space so you have to both pay and walk to get there. Only to then be rudely locked out, in our case.
UPDATE: Spring, 2023. Unfortunately, the Brick Iron restaurant appears to be closed.Great locally owned restaurant. Near the Xtreme Arena and all the other Iowa River Landing attractions. For Sunday brunch, the Eli's Brunch Sandwich is outstanding.
The food was really good and well priced, the staff acted like they were a little new, but very friendly. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place. Just be a little patient. Side note we had 13 people, so it may have gotten a little overwhelming for them, but we called ahead, and they accommodated us nicely.Parking: There is a large gravel lot a block down the road that they suggest using. It's not too far of a walk, but when there is an event at Extreme Arena, it is their overflow parking and not able to be used. We were able to park within reason, and the walking was not that terrible.
Wasn’t very busy after a hawks game. Immediate seating…good pizza and a nice selection of appetizers, sandwhiches and other things to fit almost anyone’s taste. Not a lot of street parking so we parked down the block. Service was a little slow, but we had a group of six.
I think the restaurant was short staffed on people and whiskey/bourbon. They said the old fashion I got consumed the last of it which was pretty amazing! I think I got some salmon which was cooked right. I seem to remember them having some bourbon potatoes which were like roasted potatoes with bourbon. I liked them.
