The staff went out of their way to guide us in cooking our meal and demonstrated how to properly eat samgyupsal using the lettuce wrap ball method, as well as other ways to enjoy it. They even taught us how to make a 'soju bomb' for a fun experience. It's safe to say that this is one of my top Korean BBQ spots in Vancouver.
The restaurant has a genuine Korean ambiance. The service is always top-notch and the food is consistently high-quality. The miso soup can be a bit salty, but the pork belly is incredibly delicious and always leaves me craving more.
This restaurant is always a delight, offering delicious food that is prepared in an authentic Korean style. It's fun to sit on the floor and grill your own meal. I highly recommend trying the kimchi rice instead of white rice - they will bring it out later and grill it with a crispy finish. Just keep in mind that if you are dining with a group, it's best to bring cash since they do not accept credit or debit cards.
Hands down the ultimate Korean food in Vancouver. Their kimchi pork soup is TO DIE FOR. Authentic, delicious, and we always come back. If I could rate this place 10/5 I would!! :
Good experience, good food, great vibe. Seems like the closest experience you'll get in Vancouver that's actually like a restaurant you'd find in Korea. Not super clean but will definitely come back.
