Nulife Living Food Cafe - Coquitlam

After reading some negative reviews about the recent changes, I was hesitant to visit this restaurant. However, I am glad we did because the food was delicious. We tried both of their signature dishes and they were both flavorful and filling. We especially loved the lemon zest and the turmeric latte. Overall, we had a great experience and I look forward to returning. The only disappointment was that they were out of the fake tuna wrap I had been craving. Hopefully, they will have it available next time.

My sister and I wanted to show our mother that vegan food can be delicious and satisfying, so she recommended this place. Unfortunately, our first impressions were not great due to the behavior of the staff. There were only 2 people working, and they seemed to be having a bad day, constantly arguing. It was uncomfortable to be in the restaurant for lunch with no other customers, witnessing the conflict between the manager and her coworker. Despite this, the menu had a good variety of options. I ordered the organic zesty cilantro sushi, which was flavorful but I would have preferred the nori to be thinner and less chewy.

Have visited nulife several times since it opened and were pleasantly surprised by the delicious sweet vegan tasty. they are a bit expensive for their little bites, but once in an ehile worth it

Who would’ve thought coffee and turmeric were so good? The nutty turmeric latte is so delicious. I’d love to try other lattes but don’t want to give this one up. The cold pressed juices are so good. I have a fav, but enjoy them all....Now the menu. So extensive and delicious. I still haven’t tried everything, but all that I have is so delicious! It feels so good to have delicious, healthy and ‘clean’ food! We are so very thankful for having such a place close to home. Beats driving to Vancouver. The ambience is great too! If you like delicious and are thinking to ‘try’ healthier, clean eating you MUST come here.

After reading some weak reviews about changes to the restaurant, I almost changed my mind about going. However, I am glad we did because the food was delicious. We tried both specials, which were flavorful and filling. We particularly enjoyed the lemon basil dish, as well as the turmeric latte. I am happy to say we will definitely be returning. The only downside was that I was hoping to try the fake tuna wrap, but unfortunately they were out of tuna. The restaurant underwent renovations and a name change in October 2019, but it seems that the service and quality have remained consistently good, as reported in many reviews. It's a shame that they no longer make their own almond milk in-house.
