Sharkbite's Seafood Cafe - Coos Bay

My family went here for dinner and let me tell you, it was amazing! Liz was so sweet, and the food was amazing. They offer a bunch of different cool drinks, and the kids really enjoyed it. I would absolutely come back here.

Best clam chowder I've ever had. Fish n chips are great and large.

Decent place. Not wild about the order at the counter thing but that seems to be the norm around here. Blackened fish tacos were phenomenal. The calamari appetizer was perfectly prepared slices. The place would get a 5 if it weren't for the onion rings. They were beautiful a d looked perfect but had a slight rancid oil taste. Service once you sat down was excellent.

We were so excited to try this place with all the positive reviews. The place was cute. The drinks were good. We ordered fish and chips, fish tacos and a cheese burger. We decoded on the crab cakes for an appetizer.... you get three little grilled piles of somthing... that was $22 the most expensive item that we ordered. The burger was a hockey puck and after getting to the car our 13year old daughter puked up her food. The fries were mooshy and cold. The fish was flavorless. The fish taco was tiny frozen shrimp. We had clam Chowder. It was definitely canned. The garlic bread was grilled hamburger buns with garlic butter. The only decent thing were the drinks. It was extremely over priced. We payed $137 for 3 people. We ate at a Carl's Jr for $100 less with better quality! Extremely disappointed

The service was excellent and the vibe was cute and clean which we liked. I was pretty disappointed in the size of the crab cakes that came with the crab cake salad. They were tasty but truly the smallest crab cakes I've ever seen. I grew up by the Chesapeake Bay eating big lump cakes so maybe things are done differently in Oregon and I missed the memo. For $22 I expected significantly more than 4 bites of crab on a pile of lettuce. The tarter sauce was delish tho as was my friend's tacos. But I left hungry :
