Bidra med feedbackThis place has been renovated! It's now called Grumpy's and offers delicious ice cream and lunch baskets. We were so surprised to see the fresh new look. We had cheese curds and Dr. Pepper for a snack. Yum! Definitely visit for friendly service and delicious food.
I called to make sure the restaurant was open on a Sunday they were but didn't say anything else. Drive 10 miles out of our way to get an ice cream cone and they're completely out of ice cream. Would've been nice to know when I called.
This is incorrect this is NOT a hotel, this is a fast food joint.
Please do yourself a favor: eat somewhere else. I have to say, you can 't expect much in small-town ND, but my experience was terrible. I feel my order was simple enough: one hamburger, and a chocolate malt. Oh, no malt powder? No problem! Let 's make it a shake instead, I 'm not picky. Price comes up, $9. Now, 3.79 for a shake, sure. But $5 plain hamburger? No, sorry. There were two menus visible, one said $6, the other said $5 for the hamburger basket with fries, plain burgers are expensive I guess? The menu also stated 100% pure beef burger... But I 'm telling you, it might have been beef, but it was identical to the frozen, gray, and rubbery burgers I received in elementary school. I 'll save you the 10-15 minute wait, but the hamburger came out, nothing special. (See above but no shake in sight? I assume it was the owner that was helping make the shakes. I say assume because she was pictured in multiple frames and photos around. She makes my shake, proceeds to call out the order for someone to grab, I come to claim it and she 's takes it back! She then proceeded to argue that it wasn 't mine, and there was someone else waiting for it. After she argued a bit with everyone waiting, it was clear nobody else ordered the same thing. Absolutely disrespectful and shameful behavior for an establishment owner. Thankfully a young lady, Deborah (sp? was able to talk sense into the woman and explain why she was incorrect. Deborah, you 're a keeper. Your establishment owner has plenty to learn from you about customer service.
