Lloyd Place Espresso Cafe

After a brief stint, little lane espresso has been replaced by Ruby and Dell Coffeeable, taking over where Lloyd's once stood. I was never wowed by their menu, but it just goes to show how challenging it can be to run a café.

I specifically came to Coolum for Lloyd's Café, attracted by its previous owner's good reputation despite lacking in customer service skills. Upon entering, I noticed that I was the only customer which was unusual compared to my past experiences. I ordered a coffee, which was just average, and was disappointed by the limited menu options. The café is conveniently located in the heart of the city, making it a good spot for a stroll.

This small express bar offers top-notch coffee and a diverse menu for breakfast and lunch. Lloyd truly goes above and beyond for their customers.

Very in-house friendly and cozy quiet inside and outside café, from the main street out...good eating and coffee reasonable prices, enjoyed an breakfast package that was not greasy...also shades well from the sun to escape.

First thoughts are obviously that it is not Little Lane Espresso whose site it has taken over it will take a long time before locals accept a change here. The food cannot compete with Lee's exciting middle eastern cuisine it is a limited...menu and does not have the interest that middle eastern food has. The chicken wraps I had today were actually excellent fresh and quality and well prepared the catch is that chicken wraps are not exciting and I wouldn't eat them too often. For what they are, better though than your normal fast food variety and excellent value. The coffee was ok but again, I will miss the friendly nature of Carlos as he chats with you while preparing each coffee.
