Bidra med feedbackReally good food and the service is wonderful. You feel welcome. Cheese enchiladas were spot on! Green Chile was great. Sadly, my go to comfort food, beans and rice was spicy. That side is meant to be starchy yet flavorful. The seasoning in the beans was just too much! We will return however! And I suggest you try them, too!
Walking in you soon noticed a sense of home , like walking in to Grandma 's kitchen on Thanksgiving. We were greeted with a smile and a welcoming that made us feel comfortable. The service was great and the food was some of the best Mexican dishes we have had! Delicious and plentiful. Will definitely go back, and soon.
Good food and low prices, this place is all about value! From the tea served in quart glasses to the triple combination for less than you'd pay across the street at the drive-thru this mom pop has you covered with their tasty home-made Mexican dishes.
In my mind, this is THE BEST Mexican food in the East Valley. I drive over 30 miles (from Apache Junction) to eat here. Granted I always order the same dish (Pollo Palomino) because it is SO good, but others I've taken there have ordered other menu items and agree that it is excellent. A very nondescript diner with no atmosphere, but friendly service and really good food. Maybe a little short handed sometimes so if you have zero patience perhaps the service won't be up to your expectations but then you should go to a chain or maybe McDonald's But if you want to enjoy really good Mexican food at a very reasonable price, Casa Polomino in Coolidge can't be beat imo!
The food was excellent! I had the taco salad, which was huge and incredibly filling. I noticed that the dishes being served at other tables also looked fantastic, with generous portions. The waitstaff were all very friendly, courteous, and kind. Overall, I enjoyed a wonderful lunch in a lovely setting.
