Dunleath Bistro - Cookstown

Kicked me out because of staff at Moe's bar lying using the WhatsApp group set up throughout Cookstown bars. The final straw and damming evidence was my crying at the bar. My reason for said behaviour was that I'd just been informed my best, most beloved uncle had sadly died of a heart attack. Not that that made a difference to the well intentioned but arrogant bar manager. Shameful behaviour. Whilst he was subject to false info provided abusing the WhatsApp group he refused to listen to a customer who'd just found out his uncle had passed. He was mislead by manipulative people associated with Moe's, still, poor management, arrogant and lacking the judgement to manage a bar. A shameful situation. Personally I could have been more polite however I had good reason to be in a discombobulated emotional state, certainly I could have dealt with his poor judgement better, but when one explains tears at the bar due to a close relative dying, surely it should be taken into account? Not in this case sadly.

I came here for lunch, where I ordered a BLT from their lunch menu. The food was delicious. The staff was extremely friendly, and the atmosphere was fantastic. I would definitely recommend it!

Great place with excellent food and staff. I used the off license yesterday and was over the moon that my choice of red wine was at the perfect temprature straight off the shelf. It's small details like this that sets the Dunleath apart.

Best meal I've had in a long time. Highly recommended if you are anywhere near do yourself a favour and eat here!!
