San Antonio Taco Company - Cookeville

The wings are the best in town. For what you pay for an order of wings, they give you pretty good sized wings. It is a Tex-Mex restaurant so the food is not authentic but it definitely taste pretty amazing. The employees are super-friendly and willing to talk with you about the city as well as the food.

The best tacos around. The tortillas are fresh and delicious. I had the $4.99 lunch special with two fajitas, chips& salsa with a drink. The staff at the counter and the staff preparing the meal were polite. The atmosphere is laid back, they have multiple TV's and sell beer by the bucket for a very reasonable price. I can't wait to go back again.

The food is a tad pricey for the quantity I feel like. $2.50 for street tacos plus extra for toppings. 2 tacos and 5 wins will run you $15. The food quality is good though, and made fresh when you order. Overall not a bad experience.

I'll admit ordering was a bit complicated but we figure it out, had 4 tacos with chips and a drink for less than $10 (lunch special) the patio was awesome. The staff helpful and alert. Salsa was a bit hot for me, but hubby said it wasn't hot at all. Food was great, fish taco was good, guacamole taco was yummy. We will be back!

Awesome family or adult atmosphere. Main dishes were fantastic. Side dishes not so much. Affordable until I started ordering side dishes also. Plus main dish was filling along with appetizer. Though appetizer was small for the price. Overall pretty good place and kids loved it.
