Father Tom's Pub - Cookeville

Loved the atmosphere, good place to gather with friends. Very disappointed with my food and beer. I had the most expensive on the menu $18, , supposedly petite fillet, that was a bad grade Sirloin, the asparagus and squash base was good, the steak, hard and granular, lack of taste. Craft beers for $5.00 a 12 oz glass, a demolition . I give him another shot, maybe a burger, seems to be the choice of most.

We tried to eat here unsuccessfully. We were told there was 25 minute wait after we requested an outside table. After 35 minutes we went to check on our status and we were told we did not have a seating preference listed, but we were assured we would be the next in line for an outside table. Less than 10 minutes later, we saw another group that arrived just after us get seated at an outside table. We walked in to find out what was going on, and everyone seemed clueless. The fact that this small business took our phone number, messed up, and after my family walked out and didn’t try to reach out to us and make it right makes it even worse. But we walked across the street to 37 Cedar and were immediately seated and served. Shame cause it looked like a great restaurant.

Wow, a great find while on the road working. I will be back. Fantastic local pub. Ordered a Burger, and they got it perfect. Special drink was very good. At the bar alone service is usually good, but here was exceptional.

Nice pleasant pub with a good basic menu. A stop whatever I'm in town.

Fun place! Food was average. The Mac n cheese is amazing. Service was great.
