Bidra med feedbackThe food at this restaurant is excellent, and the staff is very polite and accommodating. I will definitely return in the future. The setting and decor are lovely both inside and out. I highly recommend this place and look forward to visiting again.
We have visited here many times before. Booked to try their Sunday roast Menu for the first time. We weren’t disappointed! It was delicious! I ordered the slow braised Lamb Henry and my Husband had the Sirloin of beef , my lamb was so tender , it came with mash, roasties, veg and sticky red cabbage (my fav) we also ordered a side of cauliflower cheese which was so tasty! Portions were so generous and the gravy was lovely and thick. Service was also great. Would definitely recommend, never had a bad meal here. For dessert we had : Baileys Chocolate parfait , which was like a party in my mouth and my husband had ice cream! Can’t wait to go back. I’m no photographer and I don’t think my pics do the food justice, but believe me, you won’t be disappointed!
We took a friend here, and it was her first visit. She was amazed that she hadn't known of its existence. We were delighted with the service and the food. Also, it is dog-friendly in certain areas. I recommend that you give it a go.
We ate at the Queen’s Head on New Year’s Eve and had a lovely evening. We had intended to leave after our meal and see the new year at home, but we stayed until 12.30 am because we were having such a pleasant time. The food was very good and the entertainment, a singer called Danielle Mae, was excellent, and many people enjoyed dancing as she sang. It was very busy but despite this, the members of staff worked well as a team, efficient and friendly throughout the evening.
Had a lovely Sunday lunch here today. Food was excellent and the staff were also excellent, will definitely visit again.
