The Lounge - Coniston

My sister and I had a lovely lunch after an emotional trip to celebrate our mums life.Sophie the manager was attentive,very caring and presented us with a lovely bouquet! Not many places would be so kind. The fish n chips were excellent our mums favourite.The staff were professional social distancing adhered to plenty of handgel.Well worth a visit.

Great food. Friendly service. Nice stop off and change from the usual busy Ambleside.

I visited a birthday dinner today with my son, and the meal was enjoyable. I had a burger with fries and a lovely coleslaw, while my son ordered chicken in a cream sauce with pasta. The only downside for both of us was that the dishes were heavily seasoned, which masked some of the original flavors. The hot chocolate was delicious, and my son mentioned that the beer was good as well. Thank you very much; we will definitely return!

This is a beautiful hotel in Coniston. The breakfast was lovely, and the staff were friendly. They also offer excellent dinner options, which are perfect after a long walk. The hotel provides a convenient service of drying your gear overnight, which is especially useful in the Lake District during October.
