Lakes Hot Spot - Coniston

Good selection of sandwiches and coffees, the halloumi and the tofu hot sandwiches were delicious, we visited twice in our week here, no mistake thanks!

Fabulous hotel. beautiful environment, shave right at the lake. excellent eating with a great selection to breakfast. large room. (access bedroom) very comfortable bed, sleep like a log. rest. staff very helpful and friendly. I'm sure they'll stay here.

Nice location cozy and warm friendly staff and delicious eating and coffee. pumpkin seasoned brownies and sausage rolls were amazing.

While the only vegan item on the menu is a tofu roasted sandwich, my wife and I both ordered this for our lunch. I have to say this was probably the best tofu sandwich I had in 26 years as strictly vegan. There were many tofu, marinated and covered in sesame seeds served with mixture of grilled vegetables, eggplants, paprika, onion and mushrooms, all in a sesame bee. Absolutely delicious! Unfortunately, there was no vegan cake to go with our coffee, but after talking to the owner, I understand that they want to expand their vegan range. Well worth a visit if you are in the area, but please encourage them to make more vegan food.
