Bidra med feedbackLovely lovely people! The server/bartender was the best. You can’t beat small town living and atmosphere!
The round up is awesome for anyone. Great beer selection and great service!
My top pick here is the Chicken Chipotle Club. It has a nice kick, a generous piece of chicken, and excellent flavors. The portions are so large that I can only manage to eat half, even though I want to devour the entire thing! The French Dip is another fantastic option and ranks as my second favorite meal at Round-up Grill. So far, it has been the best French Dip I’ve found in town. Don't miss the Carnivore sandwich, either; it offers an intriguing mix of flavors, and once again, you won’t be disappointed with the size. They also offer pizza, which is quite popular. The sauce has a unique flavor, and when they add ham, it's in cube form rather than the typical Canadian bacon, making for an interesting twist. If you’re looking for pizza that doesn’t taste like it comes from a chain, this is the place to go. You can even order cakes for birthdays and special occasions, made with a unique local wheat flour. The restaurant frequently hosts groups and local celebrations; for instance, there’s a weekly bingo night. They have shuffleboard, lottery games, two pool tables, and a jukebox, and they put on seasonal events like a popular Halloween party with a DJ or live band, New Year’s Eve parties, and more. It’s also a great spot to grab a meal and watch a game. They’ve been known to feature open-mic nights, showcasing a surprising number of local artists sharing their talents. The atmosphere is fun and has a western vibe, with antique ranch items and local artwork adorning the walls. It tends to be pretty quiet during dinner time but can really come alive afterward. This place is one of only two spots in town to play pool. On busy nights, pool players may have to share the space with dancing patrons around the jukebox. I've experienced both sides, and we make it work! The other pool option is the Elks Lodge, but you have to be signed in by a member to play there, and they have only one table, making Round-up Grill a lot more accessible.
This is a dive bar, so it's best to manage your expectations and understand the setting. Considering my limited options, it wasn't terrible. There's also a salad bar, which isn't my favorite, especially in places where it seems underused, raising some concerns about the freshness of the items. This spot is definitely a local hangout; however, the bartender (I believe her name was Maryellen) was gracious and friendly. The locals were curious about my presence, being an obvious outsider, but they didn't scrutinize me too much, allowing me to enjoy my meal without feeling rushed or uncomfortable.
I'm really thankful for The Condon Round-Up for two reasons. First, I can grab a takeout pizza during this mandate. Second, the pizza is absolutely amazing!
