Bidra med feedbackIt was a surprising great experience! My family and I were hanging out in Atlanta and my daughter 's friend said this restaurant was a great place to have a pizza. We accepted the suggestion and checked that out. You have seats in the kitchen where you can see all the pizzas and calzones being prepared and I can say the place where the food is being prepared is very clean. But we can not say the same about the tables probably because of the high quantity of people eating there at least the day we went. The ingredients are very tasteful and fresh and they have other ingredients (like a delicious olive oil and a great shredded cheese) to place on the food after it gets to your table. The pizza was really very good as my daughter 's friend said but it was a little pricy. It 's a good place to have an italian/american food experience. I definitely recommend!
Great find! Rivals any Napoletana I’ve had from San Francisco to Chicago. We ordered 2 pizzas and one calzone. All amazing. That was plenty of food to feed 5 (3 of which are teenage boys).
I found this place as it was ranked the best in Atlanta on several websites, and it has lived up to the hype. Amazing artisanal pies, and excellent sides. Their “large salad” alone is worth the order, with a great house made vinaigrette. Even ordering delivery they were able to get the food out quickly, and the pizza arrived warm and delicious.
Antico's is the most authentic Naples style pizza you will find in Atlanta. Your pizza is brought to you fresh from the stone oven with ingredients imported from Italy. If you are looking for quality pizza, this is the only place to go. Antico's brings old fashioned Southern Italian pizza making techniques to Atlanta from hand kneaded dough to Italian D.O.P tomatoes. The warm Margherita D.O.P Rosso Pizza pizza has a thin chewy crust that is layered with pockets of mozzarella, tomato sauce, and your choice of topping opt for the pepperoni. The Funghi (mushrooms) is also one of my favorites. But you must decide quickly because you only get 1 extra topping. Get additional fixins from the toppings bar. These include grated parmesan cheese, whole red peppers, fresh pressed garlic, and crushed red peppers in oil. If you sprinkle some of the last two on your pizza slice, your mouth will thank you. To get water, you have to pour yourself a cup from the dispenser on the left of the establishment. It is fully self serve and you will need some water because the pizza is so savory. This location in Avalon is always crowded but it is easy to get a pizza or two. Just walk in straight to the counter and place your order from the menu above the register. They also serve wine and a variety of drinks. In the refrigerator on the right, there are delicious desserts. These are excellent to bring home and a meal would not be complete without an Italian Tiramisu. The Tiramisu here is delicious, sweet, and delicate. Grab one on your way to the counter.
We had take out. It was suggested from a friend who lived in Atlanta before. There is nothing special . It is just simply pizza with lots of bread .
