Barney's Hickory Pit - Concord

Being from Kansas City, I’ve had a LOT of BBQ. I know good barbecue and this wasn’t it. The meat was so dry the only way it was edible was to douse it in BBQ sauce. The “red” sauce was good, but a brown gravy “sauce” on my BBQ… no thanks.The fries were standard.Service was friendly, so no complaints there.The seats could use an update. I don’t mind “old diner” atmosphere, but you can do it without ripped seats.If you’re looking for good BBQ, go elsewhere.Parking: Small lot, weird entrance.

I really like the ribs I love their french fries and the gravy Oliveira items on the menu are very good
