Bidra med feedbackMy gal pal and I met up for breakfast this morning. First time here since new ownership and I have to say...it was absolutely phenomenal!!! The hostess was so nice and the waitstaff were spot on. Their menu has expanded and improved since the lastowners ran it and the food was delicious. Thank you so much to all for such an enjoyable Sunday morning! Please support localand spread the word. This will definitely be my go to eatery!!!!
BE WARNED, maintenance and management will knock on your door and not identify themselves, then if you don 't answer they will stick a key in your room and come in... this happened 2 times within our stay. Their response was we needed you to answer yourdoor THEN IDENTIFY YOURSELF.... THEY WILL GO INTO YOUR ROOM WHEN YOU ARE AWAY.. DO NOT STAY AT THIS MOTEL. The ONLY good thingabout this motel is the rooms are CLEAN. But you CAN NOT trust the staff. (restaurant has good food but expensive)
Went for breakfast for the first time since new ownership. Sadly was not impressed. Toast was burnt, coffee was VERY watered down. Had my eyes on the eggs Benedict, $10 but doesn?t come w potatoes? Never heard of that before, so does it come out on asaucer plate? I decided to go w a skillet cause I wanted some potatoes... Portions were big and it tasted pretty good! My friendhowever didn?t touch his meal after just a couple bites, his toast was also burnt and inedible. I?ve been coming to Swan since Iwas a kid it?s not the same. I will probably give them one more shot for dinner but won?t be bringing the family in as I havelittle faith in what used to be a hidden gem of a restaurant in west Michigan
The food was good. The waitress we had was not good she tipped over our glass of ice white giving us are good and didn't clean it up. Never asked us if we wanted a refill never check on us on how are good was. My daughter orders a strawberry daiquiri andshe didn't bring it until she brought out food. So good was good but service sucks. I prolly won't be back because of it. Cuzservice is big when I go to a restaurant with good reviews.
We went to the restaurant. When we got there they asked how many coffee?s we said one. We then sat there thirsty and hungry for over 20 minutes with out anyone coming to take our order or even offer us something to drink. Starving we couldn?t wait anylonger so went up to pay for my husbands coffee and leave. When we explained to the lady we had yet to be waited on and wantedto pay for the coffee she said ?where is do not want to repeat the name)? she then left us standing there and went to theback. She then came back with the waitress who said ? I?ll wait on you? We declined as it seemed like an inconvenience. I workin customer service and understand things happen.We didn?t care who?s fault it was nor want a waitress who appeared to be onbreak to be inconvenienced we simply wanted to eat!
