It was great food and drink in the heat. Myself, my husband and two teenagers had a fantastic time. That is, until we got our bill. Our sweet waitress added $11 to our bill. It was handwritten in at the bottom. We had an $85 bill and change, now $96 and change. My husband speaks Spanish and we know to watch out for this stuff so he asked her if she hand wrote in a tip or partial and she said no. He asked what the $11 was for and first she said it was for the additional veggies in my cheese enchiladas snd he said “No you said you had a veggie special.” So then she said it was extra for some food service and he told her nobody else did that, why her. Then she admitted it was a hand written tip and he said,”You could’ve gotten more than $11 for an $85 bill. But you lied and tried to cheat us to get double the tip so that’s all you get.” We love that place, we tip in Mexico what we tip here. 20-30% and never saw that at the taco factory. We have a vacation home in San Felipe and taco factory has never had an employee do that to us in several years. Great food but I’m sure the owners don’t want to think their staff is running people out for trying to cheat them out of their money. Just be careful. If drinking pay for drinks one at a time. If eating too pay before eating it. The food is great and so is the atmosphere, just be on your guard.

Had dinner here tonight. The Tacos and beans and rice were acceptable but not exceptional. The service was slow and had to call the waitress away from her cell phone not once but twice. The guy who appeared to be the manager or supervisor finally looked our way and I said that our waitress seemed very occupied and I asked if we could get an additional cocktail. He went to the waitress and asked her to take care of us. My wife's first margarita was blended and not on the rocks. The second was on the rocks and pretty much all mix. My beer was fine. I had to get up to ask for the check while the waitress continued to play on her cell phone. We live in Mexico 10 months a year so this is not sour grapes. Just poor service. We pass this way twice a year going to and from Los Cabos. Won't go back here.
