Bidra med feedbackThis was my first time at La Monarca Bakery Café. My wife and I were there to buy a cake for our wedding anniversary. The service was good.
I've tried their oatchata, oatchai latte, hot chocolate and usually go for their chocolate filling croissants. I personally don't mind the prices but I can agree with everyone else, prices can be a bit better. So delicious though
A friend brought some treats to a meeting, and I just had to try them! I opted for the chocolate croissant, and I have to say, it's one of the best croissants I've had in ages. I really can’t stand chocolate croissants that skimp on the chocolate, but this one was packed with flavor! Almost all of them disappeared quickly because they were so flaky and delicious. Every bite was a delight. I also sampled a little Concha, which was sweet but not overly so. I wish I could have tasted more, but I was more than satisfied with these two pastries and some coffee! I really hope to visit one of their locations soon.
On the bright side, if you're in search of coffee, this traditional Latin/Mexican cafe is a great choice. While the staff could be more knowledgeable about available options, they are quick and efficient. The cafe also features a nearby taco stand. This establishment is a lovely Mexican cafe, so if you're looking for an American-style Starbucks, this isn't the right spot. It caters to a niche market, excelling in familiar gastronomic flavors. They serve excellent cold-brewed cafe de olla and delicious horchata blends.
I really enjoy coming here for the Café de olla. Their cookies are also delicious, especially the wedding cookies, which are my favorite. I’ve never had a negative experience at this place. You could say they're quite busy tomorrow!
