Bidra med feedbackI really thought long and hard about this review. I wanted so badly to go with a higher star review, but I don't think they are currently at the level that warrants that. I'd give a 3.5 if I could. Please read full review to understand why. Let's start with the positives! The food was pretty awesome. Everyone said their meal was filling and something they'd order again. We had 6 people in our group and everyone seemed to have gotten something a little different, so you're bound to not be disappointed on that front. Ordering is also a breeze, but we will get back to that. Location is downtown and of course makes for a great place to stop to eat and then keep going with your journey. Oh! The staff, so wonderful. Everyone at the bar and that brought our food was so kind. It makes this even harder to write lol. Now for the negatives. When you order, you order on your phone. You're bound to get people ordering from different restaurants, so times that you're eating are going to be different. We understood it would be a little off when we all ordered. Not a huge deal. But there were some major differences in time that we all got our food. Like for instance, I got my food, ten minutes later, my husband got his...so on and so forth...the last person at our table got her food roughly 30-40 minutes after everyone else. Also, the delivery system of the food. You get a text that your food is ready, but you have to wait for someone to bring it to your table, versus just being able to go up and get it. On a busy night, like when we went, I think waiting on them compounded the problem. I think if this system was tweaked a little, the place could be a hit! We will try again a little bit down the line, and I'll update my review when I do.
The idea is promising but not executed well. Having multiple options and genres of food is great for a group- we had a group of 6. Even being able to order from your phone and have the food delivered to your table is convenient. However, the food doesn't come out at the same time, even if ordered under the same account. We had items missing that no one would have noticed if we didn't flag someone down to ask about it. And we even had an entire meal delivered to a different table. In general, many of the servers seemed to struggle with locating correct tables for mains. Additionally, there were a lot of items unavailable and very few options for vegetarian or vegan diets. With that said, who I assume was a manager or lead server, was incredible. Not only did they try to fix our issues quickly, but they actually sat and watched the food being cooked so that it could be delivered quickly. When we did get our food, it was also very good. Maybe it was newer folks or perhaps a newer system with kinks? I'm willing to try it again for a snack or with a smaller group.
My family and I had had what I could best describe as a distressing culinary experience. We went to Tejon Eatery since it was close to our hotel, understanding that it 's a food hall concept and so we thought we tempered our expectations appropriately. I ordered a miso ramen at Bol, which was without exaggeration, inedible. The overcooked noodles were completely clumped together and cold, and the scant amount of broth was sour, not remotely close to anything resembling miso. The person who prepared the food kindly agreed to exchange this for a tonkostu, which my wife ordered earlier, but strangely the two came with different kinds of noodles. The tonkotsu broth was salty to where we had to add tap water. It became apparent that the food was prepared by people not accustomed to this station , so it seems that there had been a rotation in of food preparers inexperienced to the Bol station. I wonder if somebody had called in sick and Tejon Eatery was making-do and improvising. However, if this was the situation, it might have been better just shutting that station down instead of having employees serve food that they 've never prepared before. Perhaps the food quality was much better at other stations, but we won 't be returning.
Love the atmosphere, all the different eatery’s had pleasant ppl the cluckin chicken was amazing!!!! My drink was great and I love the outside deck! Can’t forget the greatPhoto spots with the motorcycle and the game tables down stairs.
Hello everyone, I am not very pleased with my experience today. I order a burger from BombBurger a simple burger with an egg which was a Carolina. Unfortunately the ticket time was almost closed to 50 minutes…. I waited very nicely for my food and when I had questions about my order it seems to me that they made me feel ignorant about what I am doing…. The bar lady was wonderful serving my water. However I don’t believe I will be eating at this establishment anymore…
