La Lanterne - Combourg

This is a great place to eat lunch, very popular with the locals. Quite an extensive lunch menu suitable for us English visitors. Very pleasant and helpful service, its not an expensive place to eat. I recommend it in this busy little town.

Visited again recently and tried the gallettes, they are to die for. Very friendly staff and a popular little place where you can mix with the locals too. Very reasonably priced. The only bad point is that, whenever it is busy (which is often) there does not seem to be enough staff! So, I would recommend that you are not in a rush when visiting this place. Even met the chef, all very friendly Will be back next time

This is one of our favourite places to meet up as a family..good menu choices, easy atmosphere and reasonably priced. In the centre of Combourg with parking just outside or very close. Friendly and comfortable!

We have been here a few times with older family members and the food and service has been great ..friendly and helpful staff, and freshly cooked food with gentle background music which still allows conversation The cafe gourmand is a great choice for desert .....we will be back ! En balade dans le secteur pour visiter le château, nous nous sommes arrêté pour déjeuner à La Lanterne, conduits par le hasard. Notre choix a été vite fait, moules frites! Pas de surprises, les moules sont très fraiches, les frites sont maison. Rien à redire, à si, les tarifs qui sont très honnêtes et la gentillesse du personnel. Pour résumer, simplicité, qualité et service, que demander de plus à ce prix? Grand merci à la maîtresse des lieux !
