Dona Lila Kitchen and Bar - Colva

After a long car ride, we were all hungry and looking for a place to eat. I remembered hearing good things about this restaurant, so we decided to give it a try. We ordered fish fingers, chicken sizzlers, and a few other starters. Everything was tasty and well-prepared. The ambiance was pleasant and the staff was friendly. It's definitely worth a visit. Initially, there were three of us, but later in the evening, we brought a group of 8 friends for dinner. We all enjoyed hunch steak and a variety of other dishes, along with some cocktails. Overall, it was a great experience.

The beef dinner is very tasty if they like garlic. it has a beautiful series of sweets. I had the fish there too. they try very hard to please.

This is the best place with a wonderful atmosphere. The food is delicious and the restaurant is clean, plus it's conveniently located near the beach. The staff are great and very friendly.

Change is said to be the essence of life, but this restaurant was a far cry from my previous memories. I was shocked to see empty chairs on a Saturday, with only 6% occupancy. Despite the alarm bells, we decided to stay. The wifi didn't work, but the new owner apologized for the inconvenience. When the daughter went to check out an advertisement, she came back complaining of a foul smell. Meanwhile, the soup ordered by a woman at our table was tasteless, stale, and lukewarm. The shrimp was half-boiled and poorly displayed. After paying the bill, we vowed to never return.

Thursday evening 24th November in Colva for dinner and we had planned to visit this new restaurant which has recently opened which was previously the popular Jamie's restaurant. It certainly had changed, it was nice and bright, walls painted white and more open planned seating....At 9.30 in the evening the place was empty, we did not want to be the only 2 people sitting in a restaurant, not very atmospheric, so sadly we did not got in. This is not a review of the food or the staff but what the restaurant was like when we visited fully intending to eat here. Hope other guests have a good time here, look forward to other reviews and updates.
