Tasty burgers, excellent service (Kara, this means you… . By excellent service I mean our food order was taken promptly, things came as ordered, Kara did not interrupt our conversation with rote questions but kept an eye on us in case we neededsomething. Gracious people, lovely cozy room and well-prepared food. So nice.

FANTASTIC experience, well worth the price! Took Mom and Dad there for their 50th anniversary, and it was an evening to remember. Private soundproofed room and attentive waitstaff both taking the orders and serving made it feel like a veryfancy event. A nice variety of dishes to choose from, but not overwhelming. Something for everyone, and everyone left stuffed tothe gills and satisfied. We had 14 people in our party, so it was amazing that all the food came out all at the same time, hot,and correct to each person. Every single dish we ordered was made with the highest quality ingredients, from the dips to thecheese rolls, to the salads, to the chicken sandwiches, to my lovely, exquisite, succulent piece of sea bass. Hands down thebest piece of bass I 've ever eaten, anywhere. Cooked to perfection. Generous portions, but again, not overdoing it. Hudson 29really has found a great balance between quality and quantity. Drinks flowed copiously, and they were also made with style andbalanced proportions of alcohol. I had a honey and whiskey and it was unique and strong but very yummy. Don 't forget to trytheir bite size pineapple upside down donuts, made fresh to order. If you have a special occasion to celebrate, this is theplace.

For my entrée, I chose the Prime Rib Au Jus and swapped fries for roasted Brussels sprouts. Personally, the texture of the prime rib didn't quite work for me; while I understand that a tender cut can sometimes be on the pink side, it ended up being a bit too chewy for my taste. Additionally, I'm not a huge red meat fan, and I found the Au Jus failed to enhance the sandwich, which was a bit surprising. My son ordered the full BBQ rib rack, and other family members opted for the Rigatoni Bolognese, which they thoroughly enjoyed. For appetizers, we tried the cheese rolls, which were definitely the highlight of my meal—outstanding, as shown in the photo! We also ordered the charcuterie board, which, surprisingly, didn't hit the mark for me. I'm usually not a picky eater and love a good charcuterie board, but the cheeses, salami, and even the tomatoes and almonds didn’t appeal to me. I would have preferred a different appetizer if it were my choice. For dessert, we ordered a pudding whose name I can't recall, but it included Heath, ice cream, chocolate, and a cake/custard-like base, which was topped with a candle for my mom's birthday. I also tried the Pineapple Upside Down Donut Holes with caramel dip. Wow! I was pleasantly surprised by these, especially since I'm not typically a fan of pineapple upside-down cake. These donut holes were fried and dusted with sugar, reminiscent of funnel cakes at a county fair, with a warm, moist vanilla flavor and very small bits of pineapple and brown sugar—no cherries to detract from the experience. They were absolutely outstanding, especially when dipped in the caramel sauce; it was simply delightful!

This was my first visit to the restaurant, and I met a couple of coworkers for lunch. I ordered the Red Snapper Fish Sandwich along with a side house salad. The bun was soft and perfect, although I didn’t finish it all. The fish was absolutely delicious, and the salad was a generous portion with tasty dressing. Overall, it was very enjoyable. Aretha was our server, and she was attentive at just the right moments. She even helped me find an outlet for my laptop and plugged it in when we located one. Aretha was friendly and patient, truly AWESOME! I really enjoyed both the food and the service. I can't wait to come back soon!

I really enjoyed the food and drinks; everything was delicious! However, the service was a bit disappointing. It felt like we were overlooked on the patio, as we only saw our waitress every 15 minutes, and it took about 10 minutes for our drink orders to arrive. I would definitely visit again, but I hope the staff is more attentive to our table next time.
