450 North Brewing Company - Columbus

Celebrated my birthday here and had a great experience! Food was great and server suggested we order the “flight” of wine and they recommended really great flavors of wine. Forgot to ask for a birthday discount though!

The food, wine, beer, and service were exceptional. My sister and I loved the rhubarb wine and red barn ale. We ordered off the specials menu and were not disappointed. Brant was our server and he was a prince. Super attentive and charismatic.

We arrived at 4:45pm on Saturday and were seated at the bar immediately. There was a wait for the dining area although there weee several empty tables.We ordered Nachos and a Pizza for dinner, both to eat as a meals not appetizers. It took 30 minutes for the nachos to be served and another 20 minutes for the pizza. The kitchen said they thought the nachos was an appetizer but the waitress knew it was the meal but that wasn't relayed to the kitchen staff or the just assumed it was an appetizer. The chips were stale and serve time as an appitizer was excessive. My pizza was good. There were several waiting to be seated when we left. We were there from start to finish an hour and 15 minutes.The kitchen needs to get the food out faster so turn around is better and customers do not have excessive wait times. This was the same way the last time we were there 6 months ago.

There’s a joke about a new restaurant on the moon. The punchline is: It has great food but no atmosphere. Unfortunately The 450 North Brewing Co has GREAT ATMOSPHERE beer is excellent However the food is NOT so great. We ordered a grilled veggie salad, a gluten free pizza and a margarita pizza. We waited over 10 minutes to have our orders taken and then another 20 minutes for our food to arrive. The food was mediocre less than expected pizza was burned gluten free tasted frozen that was warmed up. Total cost $65 plus tip for 4 people. The atmosphere is amazing as it’s set inside the brewery as they are preparing new fresh batches of beer. It is a bit loud. The entire experience made us wishing we were in the moon with delicious food.

Really like the food and atmosphere here so we do go here often. But yesterday had bad waitress service. Normally we tip pretty good, but not this time . Food had to ask for tomatoes that Normally is on sandwich, fires were over done ,when peoples near us looked fine. Waitress issues, not friendly, never asked how our food was, no utensils given, passed us several times never looking in our direction when we were trying to get assistance, we had to get up to get Waitress attention. Normally Waitress are good here, some of them even friends of family. We do frequently recommend this place to others to eat. Please take a better look at your Waitress and the service they are giving.
