13th Street -be-que - Columbus

First. I am a self proclaimed rib and barbeque specialist.????. However, I do realize and respect that different regions prepare different barbeque. With that being said I don't expect GA barbeque to taste like TX barbeque. Now this place was a pleasant surprise ????. The price for the amount of food is GREAT. I ordered the combo special $11. I didn't expect to get 3 meats. 3 Ribs, chipped pork and 2 tenderloin!!!! AWESOME. The meats were okay plain but DELICIOUS with mustard base sauce. If you like that kind of sauce . Chipped pork is very good. I'm not a fan of the chopped pork but I will eat it. ALL the meat had a wood smoked grilled flavor. Which is good. I prefer my meat to have seasoning/rub or marinate. Sauce is needed to be delicious. It is VERY GOOD with the sauce. I just believe GREAT BBQ don't need sauce!!! I would return. Nice place, people and meats. The Dirty Dog looks INTERESTING!!! THIS 1 HAD XTRA PICKLES

Good but not great. Chipped sandwich had several tough overcooked bits I had to spit out. Mac-n-cheese was excellent as was potato salad. Pricing was decent, but there are better bbq option in the area in my opinion. Friendly staff and service. I?ve had their ribs before which are good and they are known for their pork sandwich which I?ve yet to try.

My family and I went to South GA to visit family. Hubby wanted a BBQ, so I told him to look for some in the area where we were back then. GPS told us we took an exit and turn right and when we turned right, I knew where we were going. We smelled the smoke as soon as we bend the corner! It was an exciting smell BTW. We quickly noticed a ride thru, which was very busy and parked many cars, which meant that it was also busy. Our children had eaten a few hours ago, but wanted to eat again because the food smells so delicious! We all tried the bride. Hubby and Teen had the Brisket Sandwich and I tried the Brisket Salad. Each sandwich came with Pickles and BBQ Slav, which a must be added to the sandwich. Our Teen doesn't care about Cole Slav, but she definitely enjoyed this BBQ Slav. Our preschool son enjoyed a slice of cheesecake that was fluffy and delicious! We didn't have to let him eat anything to avoid a stomachache. I had added ranch with my Brisket Salad but a little BBQ sauce to give it this extra taste. We all enjoyed eating here and looking forward to a stopover here when we go south to visit family. It's not a picture that you'll get buried so quickly.

Good parking. Easy access. Brisket moist and a perfect potato salad. Price is great. Very friendly and customer service 5 stars.

They were very busy when we arrived, but it didn't take, but maybe order 10 minutes for us and sit with our food. And the Bbq was really good!! I will definitely be back in Columbus the next time!
